Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum Zabuton Decorative Cushion - Red

The Zabuton decorative cushion is inspired by the traditional Japanese floor cushion and completes the collection, bringing the Japanese theme together. The decorative cushion features a three-point embroidered stitch in the centre, which traditionally indicates the direction in which you should sit on it. In the centre and at the corners, you will see subtle okere tassels, which originally symbolise good luck in Japanese culture. The decorative cushion has an all-over mosaic pattern in light red. The pattern comes from the Van Gogh Museum archive and has a Shibori effect. Shibori is a traditional Japanese tie-dye technique used to dye fabric and create beautiful patterns.

High-quality The decorative cushion is made of 100% cotton canvas. The decorative cushion measures 50x60 cm and comes with a resilient 100% polyester inner cushion. The cushion is not suitable for the washing machine or tumble dryer.
