Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum Zabuton Decorative Cushion - Ochre

The Zabuton decorative cushion is inspired by the traditional Japanese floor cushion and completes the collection’s Japanese theme. The decorative cushion features a three-point embroidered stitch in the centre, which traditionally indicates the direction in which you should sit. Subtle light red tassels in the centre and at the corners originally symbolise good luck in Japanese culture. The decorative cushion has an all-over mosaic pattern in light ochre. The pattern comes from the Van Gogh Museum archives and features a Shibori effect. Shibori is a traditional Japanese tie-dye technique used to dye fabric and create beautiful patterns.

High-quality The decorative cushion is made from 100% cotton canvas. The decorative cushion measures 50x60 cm and comes with a resilient 100% polyester inner cushion. The cushion is not suitable for machine washing or tumble drying.
