This season, the inspiration for the collection comes from the turbulent period that Vincent van Gogh spent in the South of France. Inspired by sun-drenched landscapes, he managed to take his art to a new height. The Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum Vieux Vignoble duvet cover pays tribute to one of Vincent van Gogh's last detailed drawings, entitled ''Old vineyard with farmer''. In this unique rendering, Van Gogh started with a pencil drawing, after which he added oil paint in various shades of blue. The discoloured red roofs add an interesting nuance to the design. Because Vincent left large parts uncovered, the white plays an important role in the depiction. This choice contributes to the freshness and lightness of the design. In contrast to Van Gogh's generally more robust work, this duvet cover exudes an airy and playful atmosphere with beautiful blue and cream tones. The back of the duvet cover shows a pattern of dark blue brushstrokes. The refined finish of the pillowcases with a dark blue piping gives the whole a classic look.High quality The duvet cover is made of 100% cotton satin, 220 TC. The total length of the duvet cover is 260 cm. This is extra long so that the duvet cover can easily be tucked under the mattress and cold feet are prevented.
