Bedding House is proud to be the official partner of the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam. The unique collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum and Bedding House results in a very special bed linen collection. Each design is inspired by one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings. Van Gogh's Sunflowers is one of his most famous works worldwide. A rich symphony of different shades of yellow, orange and green. With this series of decorative still lifes of sunflowers, Van Gogh wanted to impress his friend Paul Gauguin. These still lifes would adorn the walls of Gauguin's bedroom. Van Gogh started the series with great fanaticism. He had to paint quickly because the flowers in a vase quickly wilted: 'I am painting with the enthusiasm of a Marseilles resident eating bouillabaisse [Provencal fish soup], which will not surprise you when it comes to painting large sunflowers'. Gauguin indeed found the paintings very successful and stated that the sunflower was a characteristic trademark for Van Gogh. In 1889, Van Gogh picked up the motif again with the canvas that is now in the Van Gogh Museum. This famous work by Van Gogh is printed lifelike on the duvet cover, you can clearly see the brush strokes. The quickly arranged flowers give a rich look and an artistic 'touch' to your bedroom.

The duvet cover is made of 100% cotton satin. The cover has a chic sheen and feels smooth due to the satin weave. With a satin weave, more threads are used and the fabric is woven closer together. Cotton satin is made of 100% high-quality cotton, it breathes and is moisture-absorbent. The duvet cover has a double tuck-in strip on both sides across the entire width. The total length of a Beddinghouse cotton satin duvet cover is 260 cm. This is extra long, which means it fits every type of bed perfectly and is extra suitable for high mattresses. The cover is suitable for duvets of 200 cm, 210 cm or 220 cm. Two pillowcases are supplied as standard with the double or twin duvet covers. One pillowcase is supplied with the single duvet covers. The duvet cover has a different design on the front and back. The cover can be washed up to 60 degrees, is suitable for the tumble dryer and can be ironed. Due to the high quality, this cover retains its shape and colour even after washing.
