The unique collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum and Bedding House results in a very special bed linen collection. Each design is inspired by one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings. This season, the inspiration for the collection comes from the turbulent period that Vincent van Gogh spent in the South of France. Inspired by sun-drenched landscapes, he managed to take his art to a new height. The Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum Paon de Bonne Nuit cushion is inspired by Vincent van Gogh's fascinating sketch of a rare Peacock Moth, also known as the ''death's head moth''. The dark blue embroidery on a cream background shows the sketched lines of the moth, while the underlying print of paint stripes adds vibrant colours such as yellow and blue. The cushion is classically finished all around with a velvet piping. Turn the cushion over to reveal Vincent van Gogh's embroidered signature on a plain blue back.High quality The front of the decorative cushion is made of 100% cotton and the back of 100% polyester velvet. The decorative cushion has a size of 30x50 cm and comes with a resilient 100% polyester inner cushion. The cushion is not suitable for the washing machine and not for the tumble dryer.
