Lyocell is made from the cellulose fibres of beech trees, which can be grown on land that is not suitable for agriculture. Since beech trees can be cultivated using wastewater and less harmful solvents, the cultivation process is much more environmentally friendly than cotton cultivation, for example. Beech trees require less water and fertilizers and fewer pesticides to grow, making them a more sustainable option. Lyocell also has antibacterial properties, is highly absorbent, and offers optimal ventilation. The fabric is very good at regulating the temperature, so this duvet cover keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This duvet cover is made from 30% lyocell and 70% cotton satin, with cord piping on the pillowcases. Thanks to the combination of lyocell and cotton satin, this duvet cover is silky soft and sustainable, has a glossy finish, and is comfortable to sleep under. Wash at up to 40 degrees, tumble dry on low, can be ironed.
