Bedding House is proud to be the official partner of the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam. The unique collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum and Bedding House results in a very special bed textile collection. Each design is inspired by one of Vincent van Gogh''s paintings.
This season, the inspiration for the products comes from when Vincent was inspired by Oriental art. Japanese printmaking was one of Vincent''s biggest sources of inspiration.
The design is based on the painting "Blossoming Peach Tree". It''s just a young, thin tree that Van Gogh painted. But because of its unusual composition, it still has something imposing. The blossom tree is enlarged and placed in the full length and width of the painting canvas. This is a form of space effect that Japanese artists applied in their woodcuts. Vincent greatly admired these prints, and he tried to emulate them in his paintings each time. This duvet cover showcases the yellow-green blossom tree, which stands out beautifully against the green tones in the background. The duvet cover has a uni dyed green reverse.

The duvet cover is made of 100% cotton satin, 220 TC. The total lenght of the duvet cover is 260 cm. This is extra long so the duvet cover can easily be tucked under the mattress to prevent cold feet. The duvet cover can be washed up to 60 degrees, is suitable for the tumble dryer and can be ironed.
