Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum Fleurir Longue Decorative Cushion - Sand

This design is based on the painting, Almond Blossom. Vincent painted one of his favorite subjects as a gift: large, blossoming branches against a blue sky. He painted it on the occasion of the birth of his godson, who was also named after him, Vincent Willem. As a symbol of young life, Vincent chose the branches of the almond tree, one of the earliest blossoming trees, which announces spring as early as February. With the subject, the sharp outlines and the placement of the tree in the picture plane, Van Gogh was inspired by Japanese printmaking. This decorative cushion consists of a quieter color composition with the well-known almond blossom branches as an eye-catcher on a sand-colored background.

The decorative cushion is made of 100% slub cotton. The front has a digital print of flower branches. The back has a plain sand color with a linen structure. The decorative cushion is finished all around with an Oxford edge. The size is 30x90. The cushion has a zipper at the bottom and comes with a resilient 100% polyester inner cushion. The cushion is not machine washable and is also not suitable for the dryer.
